I do read all e-mails received but regret that it is simply not possible for me to reply to every e-mail as many hundreds arrive every day. I and my team are also dealing with an exceptional volume of emails during the COVID-19 pandemic whilst also working from home and participating in Parliament remotely. It may also help to have reviewed this website beforehand if your purpose is to find out more about a particular policy area on which I have already commented. I am unable to respond personally to the majority of ‘template’ style e-mails sent by third-party automated websites (such as Change.org or a number of campaigning charities) who have built business models around capturing user data under the pretext of a petition which they then use to ‘farm’ future donations to themselves.
